    • SQL Server 2005-2008 R2 management and administration of internal, utility, and customer-hosting environments, including server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Implemented automated alerts and notifications, backup processes and disaster recovery procedures, efficient database index maintenance, database consistency checking, security, and server and database standardization using Policy-Based Management and Central Management Server. Created server setup and configuration scripts and documentation.
    • SQL Server 2005-2008 R2 performance monitoring and tuning of internal and deployed applications using Windows Performance Monitor, SQL Server Profiler, server-side traces, DMVs and wait statistics, query execution plan analysis, Microsoft Excel, and custom-developed software.
